Rachel and Joe : : Azzolina Photography Engagement
I met Rachel and Joe in a coffee shop last year to discuss their upcoming wedding this October. I could really feel how special their wedding was to them and how much thought they had put into planning and selecting the perfect vendors for their event. There is no denying their special connection and definitely no denying Joe’s wanting to make Rachel the happiest girl in the world (which I think he definitely has accomplished). These two have truly beautiful souls. For their engagement session, we went to Collingswood, New Jersey, and decided to walk around this little town. We went to the farmers’ market, an art gallery and then went to visit their favorite restaurant. It was really fun getting to know these two, which is why I feel an engagement session is so important to any couple planning on having a photographer at their wedding. Safe to say, I may be writing the to the masses. Photographing people, anyone can do, photographing people and capturing who they really are is an art. To accomplish this, I feel you must really get a feel for those you are photographing. I love walking around little towns and finding different places to photograph without a plan. This really gives you the opportunity to see beauty that you didn’t know was there before. We knew what town we were going to and that there was a farmers’ market, but didn’t know we would find the coolest little art gallery. I am not sure I can say this enough, but I absolutely love my job.
Two more months and I get to photograph this couple again! I cannot wait!
