I am super excited to reveal the christmas set for this year’s holiday portrait special. I decided to start this tradition of custom designing a set a couple of years back and it has definitely evolved over the past years. I teamed up with interior designer, Erin Daley, to create what we call “A Victorian Christmas.” We wanted a little elegance with an old world feel. We designed an interactive set where all the props around the tree are meant to be played with: the train, rocking horse, baseball mitt, football, dolls, doll bed, and little stuffed toys. I decided to document the process of coming up with an idea and executing the design. These are images we found to begin the inspiration process. Shopping and searching for all the right design elements. Setting up the studio and bringing everything to life. The set and some detail photos of some of the interactive props/toys.
