The Joy of Photographing Children as They Grow

One of the greatest joys of being a photographer is watching families grow and capturing each precious milestone along the way. I have been photographing these sweet children since their newborn sessions, and what an incredible journey it has been. This brother-sister duo, now welcoming their brand-new baby sister, was overflowing with love—soaking up all the cuddles and sweet moments together.

I truly believe that family and sibling portraits are an essential part of every newborn session. That’s why I include them in all of my newborn packages. If you’re going to invest in professional photos, why not capture it all? These moments are fleeting, and preserving them allows you to relive the love and connection for years to come.

Personally, my favorite images of my two sons are from when my youngest was born. They were both so little, and those early days together are some of the sweetest memories I hold near and dear to my heart. I want the same for every family I photograph—the ability to look back at these moments and feel the love, the joy, and the beautiful chaos of life with little ones.
